diversion have participated in Alliance meetings and on Alliance

The American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry
(“AAAP”) is a professional membership organization founded
in 1985 with approximately 1,000 members in the United States
and around the world. The membership consists of psychiatrists
who work with addiction, faculty at various academic institutions,
non-psychiatrist professionals making a contribution to
addiction psychiatry, medical residents and medical students.
The AAAP’s mission is to promote access to high quality
treatment for all who need it, as well as to inform the
public, influence public policy, provide continuing education
for addiction professionals, disseminate new information
and encourage new research.
